# Erie Insurance Group Headquarters
Installing North America’s tallest single-span glass fins in Erie, Pennsylvania
## Project Overview
The new Erie Insurance Group headquarters called for a glass entrance that matched the scale and architectural ambition of the building itself.
At the center of the design are 58-foot-long, low-iron laminated glass fins engineered by W&W Glass; the tallest single-span glass fins in North America at the time of the project. Imperial Glazing Concepts was responsible for rigging and installing the fins as part of the structural glass system.
The installation required specialized equipment and close coordination between Imperial Glazing Concepts and W&W Glass to safely position and secure glass components of that size.

The size of the glass fins created logistical challenges, from staging it onsite to safely maneuvering each piece into position. With 58-foot components, every move requires careful planning and specialized equipment.
